It’s like a cult. The pastor of itown church announced during services sunday that the church was now looking to build at 136th street and brooks school road, a location he says he hopes will. I heard the leader of the itown church in the northern suburbs is very controlling and attempting to pair members of their church together in a way that's awfully similar to how cults do it. I've actually been to a few of this guy's services (went with an ex to make her happy even though i hated it) and that was pretty much exactly how he talked. Acrimonious and unseemly at times, the legal wrangling in state and federal courts started nearly 20 years ago, spurring unfounded allegations of a hidden will, fraud, trademark.
